About

I am a husband, dad, lover of words, an Austin based WordPress designer and developer, and the pastor of a church community in Austin.

Most of my life, professional or otherwise, is marked by ongoing creative work: generating content or shaping ideas that didn’t exist before. This blog (once known as Creativityist) is about shaping life to do my best creative work. Much of what I write about here is about the rhythms, habits and technology I use in that quest. Of course, the pastor side of me has a lot of theological wonderings as well, but you will find those on my other blog: SomeStrangeIdeas.com.

I believe that deep inside each of us is a yearning creative. So, I hope that as I share some of what I’m learning about, and hear back from people like you, it might be helpful to all of us.
