I am a husband, dad, lover of words, an Austin based WordPress designer and developer, and the pastor of a church community in Austin.

Most of my life, professional or otherwise, is marked by ongoing creative work: generating content or shaping ideas that didn’t exist before. My blog (known in years past as Creativityist and Some Strange Ideas) mixes thoughts about books, theology, technology and creative work. And maybe some coffee here and there. Much of what I write about here is about the rhythms, habits and technology I use in both my pastoral and web work.
