I was referred to First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin for a redesign of their existing WordPress site. They had a content rich site, but needed some help framing the content in an updated and user friendly design. As I overhauled their design, there were two priorities in mind: 1) update the design but keep the primary focus on the content, and 2) emphasize the diverse beliefs and relationships of the Unitarian Universalist tradition.
I enjoy working on sites that are local to Austin so that I can sit down face to face with the clients. A meeting with the core of the web committee early in the process gave me a good head start in understanding their needs and design preferences, and I’m thankful they now have a website they are proud to promote.
